The trees seemed taller, the flowers much more colorful, and the sky was bright, bright blue. I had never seen such brilliant colors before.
I started to get really worried. I had no idea where I was or how to get home.
My friends had left me alone, and I had no car. No way to even tell where I was because I didn't recognize anything. It seemed as though I'd emerged in a totally different world.
I began to think I should try to find my way back to where we had camped out all weekend. I thought that maybe if I waited back there that my friends would come back to find me. Although...I still couldn't figure out why they left me in the first place.
I turned around to go back the way I had come, but everything had changed that way also. The path I had been walking on had turned to a river with bright green water. The tall trees had formed an arch over the river, and purple flowers grew out of the trees.
What the heck is going on?
