I am a fan of anthologies because you not only get more stories but its a great way to meet new authors. Nobody is one of the better short story collection anthologies I have read.
The book contains a wide variety of stories which wonderfully includes nearly every subgenre in dark fiction. Subgenres covered include: science fiction, crime thriller, ghosts, supernatural, dark love affairs, technological terrors, alien invasion and vampire to name a few. One problem with anthologies that I have discovered is that not every story is enjoyable. There is usually a few that dont capture my attention that make me skim them for a variety of reasons.
That was not the case with Nobody. Every single story held my attention, captivated, sometimes spooky or scary. Also there wasnt the usual formulaic or overdone feel to this collection. I highly recommend this brilliantly written, entertaining, dark and fascinating anthology. It is a must read for every fan of the dark fiction genre.
