Variance: The Countdown is one quick paced, action packed adventure that introduces a new threat to the women of Earth. Wynne is your typical woman in a small town. When she is targeted because of things she doesn’t understand or control, she enters a world full of strange, dangerous beings as well as people willing to risk their lives to save hers. She and Brent rub each other the wrong way at first but the chemistry between them is still undeniable. Wynne can’t stand his superior attitude but once she gets to know him, she soon realizes there’s more to him than meets the eye. Ms. McKay skillfully draws in the reader and entices you so much, you can’t wait for more.
