"To write what is worth publishing,
to find honest people to publish it,
and get sensible people to read it,
are the three greatest difficulties of an author"

Shay Lee is a Faerie hunter, and an excellent one. Not only is she herself a Faerie, in the employ of the current Faerie Queen, Rhiannon; Shay's task is to locate Faerie living as humans, who often don't even realise their true natures. She then returns them to the Faerie Realm to live. But her encounter with Glen Row, a businessman raised as an orphan, might prove to be her undoing. The best hunter Faerie has, Shay usually accomplishes each assignment within days, but Glen has required weeks to track--and he spots her surveillance, which is a first for her. Shay is much more accomplished than this, but all her skills seem to fly away in Glen's presence.

Rhiannon, the current Faerie Warrior Queen, inherited the position from her mother, a dear friend of Shay's mother. Rhiannon's mother had not held the throne long before dying of mysterious circumstances, and ever since, Rhiannon has pushed her hunters to acquire more Faeries living in the human realm, for each released into Faerie increases Rhiannon's strength. Shay is now ambivalent about returning Glen: Faerie is his true home, but she doesn't want him to fall under the sway of the manipulative Queen Rhiannon's power.

Faerie Dust is an enticing paranormal tale with a light-hearted romantic vein interwoven. The reader immediately finds herself cheering on both Shay and Glen, and booing the sneaky Rhiannon. Author Yolanda Sfetsos poses a true conundrum for her heroine: whether to follow up on her assignment, returning Glen to the Faerie Realm to be released into his heritage and true nature, or to save him from the potential clutches of the Queen. Ms. Sfetsos possesses a delightful writing style which makes the tale a true pleasure to read. The story is sensual yet not explicit and so is suitable for most readers. The plot line is inspiring, and readers will walk away happy that they've read the book, and eager to return for a second reading. This reviewer anticipates future stories from Ms. Sfetsos.
