Bad girls have all the fun. Or, at least you wouldn't think librarian Heidi Weiss would know that. Looks, however, can be very deceiving, even in this small town. Prim and proper, Heidi knows when to nod and tsk at just the right moments while the other ladies gossip non-stop. Behind closed doors, however, Heidi is someone those same ladies would never know. In fact, it's quite possible they'd all blow a gasket at just how bad their 'good girl' can be.
I always try to find something good about a book, no matter how little I thought of it. In truth, I had a difficult time with Librarians Don't Get Married. The dialogue was far from believable, and especially during sex, it was simply the hilarity that got me through the reading.
The characters just didn't make me want to like them (or dislike them). I honestly felt nothing for any of them.
The sex scenes were, without me being too harsh, duds. It wasn't that they lacked fire; they were simply unbelievable. Sex scenes (for the most part) are intended to arouse--even the slightest bit. The sex scenes in this book seemed more comic book in style: too over-the-top, not enough genuine heat and desire, exaggerated dialogue.
I cannot, in good conscious, recommend this book.
I give it 1 Cat.
