"To write what is worth publishing,
to find honest people to publish it,
and get sensible people to read it,
are the three greatest difficulties of an author"

Beyond the Maze:

Aubrianna finds solace after a hard day's work by walking through the maze on her property, The Chadwick Manor, but when she stumbles to the ground one afternoon and finds a pair of skeleton keys she is transported back in time.

The Lord of Chadwick:

Still stranded in 1857 Aubrianna must deal with her all ready deepening feelings for Keane. When he falls suddenly ill she realizes what she must do to save the man she loves.

I really enjoyed the characters in this pair of short stories. Aubrianna is a fiery woman from the present day who isn't afraid to take on a rough and tumble man. Keane is strong and demanding and oh so yummy.

The plot was well thought out and quick paced, keeping me highly entertained until the last word. Ms. Brown-Porter has done a fantastic job here. Her description leaves you wanting for nothing and the stories themselves are a joy to read.

I rate Beyond The Maze four Freya's cats.
