"To write what is worth publishing,
to find honest people to publish it,
and get sensible people to read it,
are the three greatest difficulties of an author"

Jain Roberts travels in a spaceship bound for the planet Aquitilis. The spaceship crashes on an icy planet, and Kesuk, the leader of the Arctic Bears, rescues Jain.

Jain is unconscious and taken back to Kesuk's lair. She dreams of a man who shape-shifts into a huge white bear. Upon waking, she discovers the man/bear isn't a dream. Confused as to where she is, she then forms a bond with Kesuk, his children, and the other planet inhabitants.

Kesuk plans to trade Jain to the weretigers when they next dock on his planet, but didn't bargain on falling in love with Jain. Jain also falls for Kesuk. When the weretigers visit the ice planet, Kesuk orders Jain to leave, as another human from her spaceship has been found. They discover they had travelled for five hundred years in their cryogenic space capsule, only to crash on the ice planet and wake to a very different universe.

This isn't a fluffy mushy romance, but very real, with excellent visuals. The world created was fascinating. I applaud Crystal Jordan's imagination. Very well written, Wereplanets: In Ice captured me from page one and didn't let go until I reached the end.

The erotic scenes were very well drawn. Hot is all I'll say!

Three things wrong with this book.

  1. It ended.
  2. It wasn't long enough.
  3. It isn't in print.

I hope this is part of a series. I would love to learn more about Crystal Jordan's wonderful universe. I'd like to know how Jain and Kesuk fair in the future, and if they produce children of their own. I'd love to see Sera, the other human from the spaceship, forge a bond with the weretiger leader. Now that would be another story worth reading! Get writing, Ms. Jordan!
