"To write what is worth publishing,
to find honest people to publish it,
and get sensible people to read it,
are the three greatest difficulties of an author"

Oh! Yet again Fiona Glass has astounded me with her words. I could read a novel by this fabulous writer and lose myself. I'd devour it as if I had been starved of the written word for years!

I have never been one for the elf and fairy type stories but Fiona Glass has converted me with Elfmeet and Lost Property. Fantastic imagery that caused me to drift away. I didn't see the words. That is a sign of a fantastic writer, in my opinion. If an author can make you forget you are reading, then they are worth their weight in gold.

The erotic scene was done so exceptionally well, showing a beautiful coupling in a forest setting. The description of the scene made me feel as though I was there with them, witnessing them mate. I became one of the pairs of eyes in the leaves.

Jon has run away from home and meets Kes, an elf. Their union reveals that Jon is in fact an elf, his ears having been removed as a baby by his human parents. Jon returns home to his father, taking Kes with him. Once the truth Jon seeks is found, he leaves home once more to embark on a new life.

Lovely, just so lovely.
